Midterm Portfolios

Page history last edited by Donna 3 yrs ago

From the syllabus:

Each portfolio should be introduced by a document that describes the content of the portfolio and what each document suggests that you’ve learned, especially about women’s literature and about images of women. You should include samples of each kind of assignment: some sample blog entries and comments, a sample collage, and a sample exploratory paper. [You can provide links to specific blog entries and to your collage. If you would like to upload your paper, let me know. We're running out of room on the wiki!]

The mid-session portfolio will be a kind of “rough draft” for the final portfolio. I’ll give you feedback on that portfolio so that you can make changes for your final portfolio. Most of the grade will come from the final portfolio. However, if you don’t submit a mid-session portfolio, I won’t grade your final portfolio. And that would be bad.

Your final portfolio will be assessed according to completeness and according to your ability to speak to how each document reflects how you’ve fulfilled the course intentions. [Please discuss how your documents reflect what you've learned or considered about images of women, narratives about women, etc. The course intentions are listed on the syllabus.]
